Feel like having a go at croquet with friends or colleagues?
Perhaps you are looking for an entertaining and different focus for a social event – maybe a “big” birthday. Or you’d like to invite some clients or customers to an informal and unusual corporate “do”. Or you want to arrange something special for members of your charity or voluntary group.
Whatever you are looking for we can talk to you about what you need, and set you up to play as a group. We’ll provide equipment, tuition and the use of our clubhouse, and have experience of running a variety of events.
Our tailor-made sessions for 10 – 32 people, are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
What facilities do we offer?
In addition to our 4 croquet lawns we have a clubhouse which has a kitchen (gas cooker and sink) and toilet, tables with inside seating for 16, plus many outside seats. There is no electricity. We have mugs, some beakers, crockery and cutlery available for you to use.
We do not provide catering so you will need to bring your own food/drink.
How much will it cost?
We charge per head with a minimum number per event, invoiced after the event.
Corporate Organisations`: A charge of £24 per head with a minimum number of twelve
Voluntary and Charities: A charge of £16 per head with a minimum number of twelve
Children and Young peoples organisations (Up to the age of 18): A charge of £8 per head with a minimum number of eight.
Please note Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons are club sessions so not available for events.
How long will it take?
We would recommend allowing about 3 hours to include arrival, introduction and instruction time including getting mallets etc. as well as playing and possibly any extra time needed for refreshments if you wish to bring food and/or drink.
What about parking and access?
We are situated midway between Guildford and Godalming, off the A3100, with easy access to the A3. We are on the same site as Guildford and Godalming Rugby Club. Our postcode is GU7 3HD. There is plenty of free parking available.

Terms and Conditions
We will reserve your preferred date subject to availability of our lawns and coaches. After the event, we will send an invoice the fee at the relevant price per head, or minimum charge payable within 14 days
Croquet is an outdoor sport. We will watch the weather forecasts and, if it appears that the weather will simply be too bad for any play to take place with heavy rain for the period booked, we will discuss with you a way forward that is mutually acceptable, such as cancellation or postponement. Occasional showers must be accepted as normal conditions to be tolerated.
If you fail to arrive on the agreed date we reserve the right to charge you the minimum fee due.
